Appeals Court Documents On Proposition 8 Lawsuit

The Decision of Judge Vaughn Walker, declaring Proposition 8 unconstitutional, has been appealed to the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals.

As a part of that appeals process, both the supporters and opponents of Proposition 8 are submitting legal documents to the appeals court. The appeals court is also creating documents as it issues procedural orders. Eventually the appeals court will issue decisions on at least two points:

1. Do those appealing Judge Walker's decision have standing (or the right) to appeal Judge
    Walker's decision?

2. Was Judge Walker right in declaring Proposition 8 unconstitutional?

As the appeals court process continues more documents will be created.  As they are, we will add links to those new documents to the list below.
