Here are the changes or additions made to this web site this month.
1. We in the United States often think of HIV/AIDS as an American Issue and as one that affects mainly gay men. However, the truth is that the United States ranks 7th among nations, worldwide, in the number of HIV/AIDS cases. HIV and AIDS are occurring at very high numbers in Southern Africa and South Asia. And most of the cases in those nations are among heterosexual persons.

2. We have added score cards that rate the voting records of legislators in the California Assembly and Senate on legislation that affects African Americans, Asians and Pacific Islanders, and Latinos and Latinas. There are separate score cards for each of those communities. To see the score cards, just click on Person of Color Issues on the left side of this page and then click on the link to the score card that interests you.
