Listen To And Watch Legislative Committee Hearings And Floor Sessions
The business of the state legislature is completed with hearings and votes in various committees of the state Assembly and Senate and with debates and votes on the floor of the Senate and the Assembly.
When an exciting bill is being debated in a committee, or on the floor of the Senate or Assembly, people from the Sacramento area can sit in the audience at the state legislature and listen to and watch the debate and the vote.
For people outside the Sacramento area, that is usually not possible. But they can listen to and watch the debate over the Internet.
